Status!

Lately I've been trying to made my own comic. I've submit one of them to ngomik.com, titled "STATUS". Actually it's something that I created for a competition, but I couldn't met the deadline (shame on me!). Here are some of the covers:

I still need to work on my color pages (and background. and character consistency. and layout. and... well, all of them need more work). About the story, it's basically something that strikes me during the election period, since there were so many post on the social media related to the candidates. It really is a hint to how social media can affect our daily lives and our principle nowadays.

If you have some spare time, please come and read it :) (though I myself have been struggling to meet my own deadline, haha)

Melanjutkan dari post sebelumnya tentang Mekakucity Actors, kali ini postingan ini dibuat setelah menyelesaikan series ini. Kesimpulannya?

Kecewa.
Berat.

Setelah sukses menghabiskan waktu untuk menghabiskan dan menikmati proyek aslinya (Kagerou Project/ Heat Haze Project) dengan sangat semangat, tiba-tiba dibanting dengan kenyataan bahwa animenya diselesaikan dengan sangat terburu-buru. Belum lagi bagian Ayano's Theory of Happines... seriously, even though i really liked Shaft surrealism style, this is out. Certainly OUT.

Untungnya, sudah sempat membaca light novelnya sampai jilid 3. Dan jilid 5nya dilisensi. Sedih (berhasil dapat translate-annya sih, jadi masih bersyukur).

Ngomong-ngomong, light novel ada yang berniat menerbitkan nggak sih di Indonesia? Dan setelah muter-muter di Gramedia, ternyata..... ada. Yah, meskipun masih tipe one-shot yang pamornya belum ada. Guess the publisher didn't want to take too much risk by publishing a popular series, which could go on and on and on into many volumes.

Penerbitnya? Shining-rose publisher (kalau nggak salah).

Light novels memang agak aneh kalau dibaca ya~~ terutama setelah terbiasa dengan gaya novel klasik, pemecahan dialog dan aksi di light novels agak menyebalkan. Apa harus disesuaikan dulu formatnya dengan novel biasa? Tapi bukannya itu menyalahi esensi dari light novelnys sendiri? (Hmm, postingan ini dibuat setelah berkali-kali baca light novel terjemahan inggris yang banyak beredar dari Baka Tsuki and others, serta setelah mengecek sendiri format light novels yang dijual di Jepang sana *dilakukan di Narita, cuma bisa ngecek format doang, secara belum sanggup baca sampai segitunya. hiks)

Well, onto the day in which i could read any novels without translation. Hopefully :)

Kagerou Project

Anime baru yang ditonton akhir-akhir ini adalah Mekakucity Actors.

Setelah riset beberapa lama (astaga, risetnya model beginian ya. Skripsi dikemanain??), I found out that ths anime is actually an adaptation from Kagerou Project. What is Kagerou Project? Well, I suggest you to go here and visit youtube to watch the PV.

While I don't really like the vocal (IA or Hatsune Miku, sometimes both), I found those song irresistible.

And I found myself wondering, what was the novels like? So I've begin a journey to search for the light novels. I've found some links, and managed to put those together. I've uploaded those to my account in 4shared, you can find them here:
